• Wood has been carefully selected from US forests. After being dried naturally for 3 months, it’s then kiln-dried to a precise moisture content ideal for crafting quality furniture.

Each piece is hand selected by our craftsmen to be used for components that are ideally suited to each piece of furniture. They use a hundred year old process of applying steam and pressure to permanently bend each piece to the desired shape. Everything is carefully cut and fitted using traditional joinery methods, building a masterpiece that will last for ages. Over time the natural color will age, testifying to its genuine hardwood production.

Checking Information: Log furniture is subject to the natural process of “Checking,” which is when the wood “seasons” and dries. Checking occurs as as wood releases moisture across, or through, the annual growth rings. It does not affect either the structural performance or integrity of the wood. Checking not only makes each piece unique and adds beauty to the log furniture. Varying amounts of checking may occur on any given piece of log furniture and cannot be controlled by the builder.
